Atheism is a position of belief while agnosicism refers to knowledge. As an atheist, I do not believe in the existence of gods. As an agnostic, I hold the view that it is impossible to prove or disprove the existence of gods. In other words, even if gods did exist, it would be impossible to prove it. Therefore, I am an agnostic atheist...I do not believe in the existence of any gods but I don't believe it is possible to prove (or to know) that gods do not exist.Chrisnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19354118.post-4607225164183208322007-01-24T04:56:00.000+11:002007-01-24T04:56:00.000+11:002007-01-24T04:56:00.000+11:00Always considered myself an atheist...brought up t...Always considered myself an atheist...brought up that way.

Some atheists claim I'm not an atheist or that I should call myself an agnostic because I do believe that there are NATURAL forces at work that we may not be able to measure with current technology; just think back to before we knew anything about quantum physics if you don't get how I can think that.

However, I don't believe in any sort of deity putting these forces in order...call me what you will, but I guess I'd consider myself an open-minded, non-theistic skeptic! :)Melissahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15938246021244252189noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19354118.post-1163001873874031232006-11-09T03:04:00.000+11:002006-11-09T03:04:00.000+11:002006-11-09T03:04:00.000+11:00Sorry this took so long, but you can count us all ...Sorry this took so long, but you can count us all as atheists. Two Percent Companyhttp://www.twopercentco.com/rants/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19354118.post-1161981183842446202006-10-28T06:33:00.000+10:002006-10-28T06:33:00.000+10:002006-10-28T06:33:00.000+10:00please add me. strong atheist.please add me. strong atheist.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19354118.post-1161841459658678732006-10-26T15:44:00.000+10:002006-10-26T15:44:00.000+10:002006-10-26T15:44:00.000+10:00Hi! There's a great deal in various religious systems that's frightening, and there's also much that has genuine value.

I find that those who are especially rigid in their belief systems, whether religious or secular, have to work especially hard to keep from learning anything that might upset their view of the world. I was told, over and over, that the day would come when I "return to Christ". I have had numerous trials in my 53 years that could have led me fall on my knees and pray - if there were even the tiniest thought in the back of my brain that there were some higher power out there capable of delivering me from my anguish. But I am so thoroughly convinced that no such thing exists, that regardless of my pain there was absolutely no reason to waste a moment of my time with it. For better or worse, this is all I have. I'm not going to make up a "happy ending" to comfort me in my rapidly passing years. I'll die rational, if nothing else.

Add me.

www.evolutionarymiddleman.blogspot.comJohnhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09609467928882707830noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19354118.post-1156907694713301892006-08-30T13:14:00.000+10:002006-08-30T13:14:00.000+10:002006-08-30T13:14:00.000+10:00atheisthttp://seeforyourself.blogspot.com/atheist
http://seeforyourself.blogspot.com/adsparhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10932008288077228551noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19354118.post-1156901882694829232006-08-30T11:38:00.000+10:002006-08-30T11:38:00.000+10:002006-08-30T11:38:00.000+10:00an agnostic-christian. thinking about it hurts.an agnostic-christian. thinking about it hurts.bradhttps://brichert.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19354118.post-1156900900735344202006-08-30T11:21:00.000+10:002006-08-30T11:21:00.000+10:002006-08-30T11:21:00.000+10:00Okay-dokey, I see people that I know here.
