BEEP! BEEP! IT'S ME.

"Begin at the beginning, and go on till you come to the end: then stop." (Lewis Carroll, 1832-1896)

Alice came to a fork in the road. "Which road do I take?" she asked."Where do you want to go?" responded the Cheshire cat."I don't know," Alice answered."Then," said the cat, "it doesn't matter."

"So long as I get somewhere," Alice added as an explanation. "Oh, you're sure to do that," said the Cat, "if you only walk long enough."

"All right," said the Cat; and this time it vanished quite slowly, beginning with the end of the tail, and ending with the grin, which remained some time after the rest of it had gone. "Well! I've often seen a cat without a grin," thought Alice; "but a grin without a cat! It's the most curious thing I ever saw in my life!"

I am diagonally parked in a parallel universe. Like Arthur Dent from "Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy", if you do not have a Babel Fish in your ear this blog will be completely unintelligible to you and will read something like this: "boggle, google, snoggle, slurp, slurp, dingleberry to the power of 10". Fortunately, those who have had the Babel Fish inserted in their ear, will understood this blog perfectly. If you are familiar with this technology, you will know that the Babel Fish lives on brainwave radiation. It excretes energy in the form of exactly the correct brainwaves needed by its host to understand what was just said; or in this case, what was read. The Babel Fish, thanks to scientific research, reverses the problem defined by its namesake in the Tower of Babel, where a deity was supposedly inspired to confuse the human race by making them unable to understand each other.

Rumsfeld: Thou Art Weighed In The Balances, And Art Found Wanting.

"Picnic" Oil on canvas by Iraqi artist Muayad Muhsin

Muayad Muhsin was both inspired and enraged by a photo of US Defence Secretary Donald Rumsfeld slumped on an airplane seat with his army
boots up in front of him.

"It symbolised America's soulless might and arrogance," said Muhsin, whose similar painting of Rumsfeld will be unveiled in an exhibition opening in Baghdad on Monday.

"Rumsfeld's boots deliver a message from America: 'We rule the world,"' Muhsin, 41, told The Associated Press in an interview. "It speaks of America's total indifference to what the rest of the world thinks."

Well. Now I remember. Marylin Manson. Of Course. The Matrix Soundtrack.
Is this correct?

Yes, MM is on the Matrix soundtrack. (I see australia is going to play Brasil in the next game? :) )

Possibly. In this case, we will be certainly in oposed intentions. But this is constructive, don't you think so?
Today you must see the brazilian Golden Quartet in action against Croatia. But I presume you wont be awake at 4 AM. Remember. Here, we are in -3:00 GMT. Possibly 24 hs of difference from Australia.
By the way, I have donwloaded the MM's clip "Tainted Love". It's really cool! But this music was from The Cure. I loved The Cure in 70s/80s. As The Smiths and many others. In Tainted Love, the difference is the Manson's performance.

Yes! But it was a terrible game. Here, we didn't like. Especially Ronaldo's performance.

Perhaps people expect too much of their star performers? I know in Australia we do this sometimes too.

Yes! No doubts we expect. To tell you the truth, if they make a mistake (like Ronaldo's imobility), sometimes we would like to behead them on arriving back to this country.
Of course it's a joke. :-)
Seriously, we become a little angry. In that game, we've bought a lot of beers only for just one gol. A bad cost x benefit relation, don't you?
:-)

I know football is a passion in South America. Tonight Australia plays Brazil. Of course, I wish Brazil good luck, but I would also like Australia to win, even though the odds are against that.

I hope it is a great game and worthy of both Australia and Brazil. :)

And It Was a great game. Believe-me: Australia has made the best. And has proved to the world that has great soccer players. But to tell you the truth, Argentina has the best team till now. I really think they are the favorites to win the world cup.
Glad to meet you. Tomorrow I'm going on vacation to... (Can you guess??)
Bariloche, Argentina.
Snow, skiing, and cold in South of Patagonia.
Best wishes.
Carlos
