BEEP! BEEP! IT'S ME.

"Begin at the beginning, and go on till you come to the end: then stop." (Lewis Carroll, 1832-1896)

Alice came to a fork in the road. "Which road do I take?" she asked."Where do you want to go?" responded the Cheshire cat."I don't know," Alice answered."Then," said the cat, "it doesn't matter."

"So long as I get somewhere," Alice added as an explanation. "Oh, you're sure to do that," said the Cat, "if you only walk long enough."

"All right," said the Cat; and this time it vanished quite slowly, beginning with the end of the tail, and ending with the grin, which remained some time after the rest of it had gone. "Well! I've often seen a cat without a grin," thought Alice; "but a grin without a cat! It's the most curious thing I ever saw in my life!"

I am diagonally parked in a parallel universe. Like Arthur Dent from "Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy", if you do not have a Babel Fish in your ear this blog will be completely unintelligible to you and will read something like this: "boggle, google, snoggle, slurp, slurp, dingleberry to the power of 10". Fortunately, those who have had the Babel Fish inserted in their ear, will understood this blog perfectly. If you are familiar with this technology, you will know that the Babel Fish lives on brainwave radiation. It excretes energy in the form of exactly the correct brainwaves needed by its host to understand what was just said; or in this case, what was read. The Babel Fish, thanks to scientific research, reverses the problem defined by its namesake in the Tower of Babel, where a deity was supposedly inspired to confuse the human race by making them unable to understand each other.

What Religion Best Suits You

Take the quiz:
WHAT RELIGION BESTS SUITS YOU?

Category Unknown
You don't fit into any of the above categories, so perhaps before you get angry or confused, check what other religion(s) you scored the highest on. For example, you might be a Christian-Pagan, or a Discordian-Wiccan. Just use a bit of logic. However, according to this test, you're simply 100% YOU. You don't fit into any of the world's boxes.

Quizzes by myYearbook.com -- the World's Biggest Yearbook!

Which religion is the right one for you? (new version)

You scored as atheism. You are... an atheist, though you probably already knew this. Also, you probably have several people praying daily for your soul. Instead of simply being "nonreligious," atheists strongly believe in the lack of existence of a higher being, or God.

atheism 88%

buddhism 83%

agnosticism 83%

Paganism 79%

Satanism 75%

Judaism 54%

Islam 50%

Hinduism 38%

Christianity 33%

I don't find it too amazing that I scored fairly highly as a potential buddhist. I do try to be a peaceful type. It is my lot for having been born in an era of "love and peace man". But I am perplexed as to how I scored 75% in "satanism". lol (I think I will call it "stanism". It sounds less icky that way.)

Obviously out of the questions they designated as being atheist, I scored 88% in those and so on down the list. Frankly, being a pagan wouldn't be so bad if I didn't have to eat anything yucky, or sleep outside my own species, but I am not sure of any of the rules associated with paganism; so I will happily remain an atheist.

The universe is a wonderful mystery.

I object to that definition of atheism. Also I do not think that I am 8% Islam or 42% Satanism. Whos praying for me? The people who made the test?

Yeah, I got pretty much the same thing... just the %s differed. I guess when they scored the test they assigned x number of questions as being "christian questions", and so many as being "atheist questions" etc etc.

Hey guys,

Did a test similar to this a while back. I was very surprised it did not come up atheist. It mustn't have made an allowance for it. It said something like: "You are suited to a religion that encourages individualism and freedom of thought." I remember thinking: isn't that ideal the antithesis of religion?

spooks, I agree. That definition of atheism is BS. With regards to who is praying for you; I think they mean your friends and family. From communications I have had with many American atheists, this seems to be fairly common.

I don't like this test, becaus of the disagree n/a category. I'm not sure if I totally disagree whether to click the far left box or not, and sometimes n/a and totally disagree on this quiz are actually a conflict. This is a better test, but last time I checked they disguised the word atheist, here are my top 5 results from that quiz:
1. Secular Humanism (100%)
2. Unitarian Universalism (100%)
3. Liberal Quakers (86%)
4. Mainline to Liberal Christian Protestants (81%)
5. Nontheist (77%)

I did the test you linked here in September, my results:
atheism79%

Satanism75%

Paganism50%

agnosticism50%

Judaism42%

Islam33%

Buddhism33%

Christianity17%

Hinduism17%

And my results for another test which pissed me off by calling me an agnostic instead of Atheist. I think I need to take it over again.

The test has impossible to define paramaters since it mostly questions moral precept than dogmatic belief. It's not very scientific.

BeepBeep, how did you find my blog?

Re jewish atheist: Yes, I agree.. I basically find these tests just to have amusement purposes really... I wouldn't put a lot of trust in their accuracy.

Re: vile blasphemer: I read a comment you made on jewish atheist's site.

Re adam: I consider these tests to be kind of like reading my stars for the day... for entertainment purposes only. :)
